The mission of our club is to provide opportunities to attend unique events and to foster friendships. We organize events and service projects for new arrivals as well as established residents. You will find Newcomers is mix of all ages, ethnicities, backgrounds, singles and couples, stay at home moms, working families, business owners, and future friends.

How to find friends in laredo.
There are weekly coffee groups, play dates, Bridge, Bunco, adventure activities, tennis club, book club, service projects, adult socials, monthly luncheons and much more. She soon found that Laredo had many newcomers that were ready and willing to. The club has grown steadily since that time and many lifelong friendships have been formed. The Newcomers and Friends of Laredo Board would like to send you our warmest greetings.

All of our events have been cancelled or postponed until it is safe again to enjoy activities together in person. However, please enjoy the digital spaces that we have to stay connected and share ideas. On Facebookwe will be sharing ideas about how to stay busy and keep our kids busy and we will continue to keep you posted on important city information. A gourmet food lover and traveling enthusiast. Jamie is originally from Rochester, NY but has been in Laredo since Formerly a full-time school teacher, she now tutors international students in English via the computer.
Where to meet people in laredo
In her free time, she enjoys exercising, watching reality television and running with her two daughters, ages 8 and 4. Ruth was born and raised in Monterrey, Mexico, which is like a sister city to Laredo. Since she has lived in different countries and several states in the US, Ruth is well acquainted with being new in town and is thrilled to be part of Newcomers and Friends where she can actively welcome new people to Laredo. Soon to complete her studies in psychology, she also loves volunteering, parenting, languages, real food, fitness, cross-cultural experiences, Mexican Folk dance, and flamenco.
She is a d counselor and works at Border Region as the Webb County Crisis Counselor for children and adolescents. She is an alumnae of Delta Zeta sorority.
She has been a member of Newcomers and Friends of Laredo since She loves taking part in book club, craft night, and weekend and holiday events. She is the mother of two boys ages 10 and She earned her doctorate at Louisiana State University and has been in Laredo for since In her free time she enjoys reading, yoga, and playing with her young son. Michelle moved to Laredo, TX in with her husband and two children.
She currently works part time in Web Development and De. Michelle was born and raised in Austin, TX. She has also lived in Southern California and Georgia, but she is happy to be back in Texas and closer to family. Her other interests include working with radio and television.
